The Land Cruiser has always been designed to be a gifted off-road sport utility vehicle and in many countries this is used as a police or military vehicle still to this day. Back in 1999, the Land Cruiser was converted over from a 6-cylinder to a V-8 which elevated the SUV's status to a more family friendly vehicle. Today there is a 5.7 liter V-8 engine that makes 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy is 13 MPG in the city and 18 MPG on the highway.
Overall the interior is great with the Land Cruiser having the ability to carry 8-passengers in comfort. The 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser offers an amazing driving experience. Its size is not too large like a Suburban. Instead the Land Cruiser is the ideal size for an 8-passenger large SUV. This is a great vehicle that you will want to keep in your family for a long time.
